Parent Teacher Conferences
If the following fall dates do not fit your schedule, please contact your child’s advisor to set a mutually convenient conference time.
8th Grade
October 29 | 5:30 - 7PM, November 5 | 1:15 - 4:15PM
It’s time for Fall Conferences! The CSUS 8th grade team is offering short conferences on two dates, with families having a choice of which teachers to meet. These conferences are 10 minutes long and provide an opportunity to meet your child’s teachers, get a quick update on how he or she is doing and have a brief discussion of how best to meet your child’s needs. That’s a lot to do in ten minutes, but we need to stick with this time frame in order to meet with as many families as possible. There are two days available for you to come in and meet with your child’s teachers. Both days are on a first come, first served basis. Sign Up to Participate by October 27 >>
7th Grade
November 5 | 1 - 4PM, 5 - 7:30PM
6th Grade
November 5 | 1:15 - 4:15PM, 5:30 - 7:30PM
Each core subject area has ten minute conference slots during those times above. You can sign up online to schedule ten minute conferences with core subject teachers. If you have any questions, please feel free to email Mary Elizabeth Cranton, or call the school at 617.349.3050. We look forward to meeting with you!

You're Invited to A Crack in the Blue Wall
November 13 | 8PM | Hibernian Hall, 184 Dudley Street Roxbury, MA
You're invited to join us for a Friday night field trip to see, A Crack in the Blue Wall, a dramatic new play by award-winning playwright Jacqui Parker. The play focuses on Trey, a young black peace worker killed by a white police officer while jogging through the Boston Common. We see the play through the eyes of those connected to the tragedy -- including relatives in Trey's family and law enforcement. A Crack in the Blue Wall mixes drama with humor and is a play that everyone can relate to. ~A MUST SEE!~
We will be meeting in Central Square at 7:15PM and will take the train to Roxbury. The show is two hours long. We will return to Central Square by 11:30PM. We ask that parents/guardians pick up their children in Central Square or arrange a ride for them. Parents/guardians are also welcome to join if interested.
Tickets cost $15 for scholars and 25 for adults. Any scholar that attends will receive extra credit towards one of their classes. Scholars should see Kini Griffin for a permission slip.
