You're Invited to A Crack in the Blue Wall
November 13 | 8PM | Hibernian Hall, 184 Dudley Street Roxbury, MA
You're invited to join us for a Friday night field trip to see, A Crack in the Blue Wall, a dramatic new play by award-winning playwright Jacqui Parker. The play focuses on Trey, a young black peace worker killed by a white police officer while jogging through the Boston Common. We see the play through the eyes of those connected to the tragedy -- including relatives in Trey's family and law enforcement. A Crack in the Blue Wall mixes drama with humor and is a play that everyone can relate to. ~A MUST SEE!~
We will be meeting in Central Square at 7:15PM and will take the train to Roxbury. The show is two hours long. We will return to Central Square by 11:30PM. We ask that parents/guardians pick up their children in Central Square or arrange a ride for them. Parents/guardians are also welcome to join if interested.
Tickets cost $15 for scholars and 25 for adults. Any scholar that attends will receive extra credit towards one of their classes. Scholars should see Kini Griffin for a permission slip.
