We Made It

We've Made It!
We have successfully transitioned into our new space! We are all still getting to know the building and working out some logistical issues, but overall it has been an exciting and happy time. Not only for the King community but for the upper school as well. Read more >>

Hour of Code

Tech News
December is such a fun month for so many reasons. My favorite thing about December is Computer Science week and the Hour of Code. As a self-taught programmer, I relish the opportunity to share little glimpses into how the technology we all use works, and that students can create things they may have only dreamt about through computer science. It feels a little like giving students a key to unlock a new world and our student always jump at the chance and ask for more. Read more >>

Cold Weather

Dress for the Season
With the winter season approaching students will be wearing extra layers. Don't loose your clothes! Please write your child's name on all coats, hats, sweaters, snowpants, boots, and any extra clothing.

MLK

Save the Date: Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration at MLK
January 15 | 8:15 - 9AM
Parents, students, and staff will be welcomed to the new building.

Students will perform songs of the civil rights era and movements as we celebrate the life and legacy of our namesake, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

In the evening the celebration continues with parent tours of the building from 5 - 5:30PM and 6:30 -7PM.

Stories and songs will be performed by storyteller and performer Valerie Stephens followed by a potluck dinner. Please bring a dish to share.

Come volunteer at the 6th Annual Cambridge MLK Day of Service and honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Join us for an afternoon of hands-on service projects that benefit thousands of Cambridge residents in need!
