A Big Welcome!
On Wednesday, March 23rd, the Tobin Community welcomed our new students! Families were so excited to meet several of the staff members, hear our 5th grade orchestra, and listen to a few words from Jaime. The families also got to visit the classrooms and of course enjoyed some refreshments in the lobby. Several of our 4th graders took the families around for a school tour that was both informative AND entertaining! We look forward to seeing all the new faces in the fall!
Staff Appreciation Lunch
It is hard to thank our teachers and staff enough for all the diligent hard work they do for our students and families, but on Tuesday, March 15th teachers and staff from both Tobin and VLUS enjoyed home cooked meals prepared by parents. Everyone involved seems to highly anticipate and enjoy this annual tradition. Everything ran smoothly this year, and the staff and teachers seemed to all agree that everything was delicious. Thanks to everyone who contributed this year!

Humble Opinion: Check Us OUT!
Not for nothing, but we've got a fantastic administrative team at work this year, which includes awesome collaboration with parents. A lot of that collaboration happens at SAC (School Advisory Council) and FOC (Family Outreach Council) meetings. And because not everyone can attend, some folks have put in tremendous effort to make the content of those meetings available to you anytime, anywhere. All you gotta do is CLICK!
For example, here is a great visual preview of the new DROP OFF PROTOCOL coming into effect soon, thanks to the invaluable feedback for the brilliant new guidelines.

The Mindful Parents group will hopefully follow online soon. In the meantime, here is a list of all meetings in the next month, which are always Thursdays at 8AM, with childcare and snacks included (unless otherwise noted)*:
