Giants of Science
Here is a great family activity on the weekends of April vacation week. And it's completely free! Head to Giants of Science, a concert of entertaining and enlightening songs about the lives and work of great scientists and mathematicians throughout history who have shaped our understanding of the world. The program includes a medley of songs written by Cambridge Public School students working with David Haines. All songs are performed by an intergenerational chorus, for audiences of all ages with an accompanying slideshow of children’s artwork and lyrics. The concert is about an hour.
–Saturday, April 16 | 3PM | Broad Institute of MIT & Harvard, 415 Main Street, Cambridge
–Sunday, April 17 | 6PM | Cahners Theater, Museum of Science, Boston
–Sunday, April 24 | 3PM | Peabody School, 70 Rindge Ave, North Cambridge
