East Cambridge Clean-Up Day
Each year K-Lo takes part in a neighborhood beautification program. We team-up with East Cambridge Business Association and East End House. Friends and neighbors gather together in spots all over East Cambridge and clean, plant and enjoy the sunshine! This year’s date is May 7th. We meet at chosen location around 9:30 for coffee and donuts, then head out to Cambridge Street to weed and mulch tree wells or spread some wood chips at the K-Lo. All volunteers come back to the K-Lo School on Spring Street for pizza and drinks and hi-fives. We typically finish between 11:30 and 12:30 before heading in for pizza. It’s a great community day and the results can be seen and felt throughout the summer. You can sign up here: http://bit.ly/1qLU6Eo
