Do you know what you are breathing into your lungs? Does melting arctic sea ice raise sea levels? These are just a few of the questions students at the King School pondered during our Science Week, April 11-15.

MLK Parent-Organized Chinese Summer Camp
The MLK parent-organized Chinese Summer Camp is indeed happening! A good way to get your kids ready for Chinese learning right before school starts, with experienced teachers from local Chinese schools. Time: Week of Aug 8/29-9/2 (the last week from school starts, with few camp options.)

Place: First Church of Cambridge, Congregational (close to Harvard Sq. T) Activities: Chinese conversation, singing, games, cooking class
Age: 6-10
Cost: $320 plus space cost (about $44) and insurance (about $65)
More information: Contact Rebecca
We only have about 10 spots left. So reserve now! For week, we picked based on what works for the most families. We tried very hard to get the school space but it's not available due to cleaning up for the school opening. If you have more than one kid who qualify (ages 6-10) you can sign up more than once.

Do you want to have an audience with the city government?

Mayor E. Denise Simmons opens her office to local citizens every Friday from 8:30 - 11AM.
