Estimadas familias,
Ya se acerca el fin del año escolar. Ha sido un año muy maravilloso y anhelo el poder reflexionar sobre esta experiencia durante el verano. Hay áreas de crecimiento y sé que continuaremos trabajando juntos para fortalecer nuestra escuela y nuestra comunidad.
Quisiera exhortar a los padres/madre/guardianes a que hagan ciertas diligencias antes del fin de año. Primero, por favor visiten los artículos perdidos, muchas clases tienen cajas fuera de los salones. Cualquier artículo que quede al fin del año escolar será donado. Además, por favor, devuelvan cualquier libro de la biblioteca a Srta. Melisa. El Departamento de Multimedia y Servicios bibliotecarios realiza un inventario importante durante el verano. Finalmente, por favor informe a Srta. Sheila en la oficina si se mudarán o si su niño/niña no regresará a Amigos el próximo año.
“Más allá de la cuarta pared” (Beyond the 4th Wall) inaugurará su obra de teatro, “Eres un buen hombre, Charlie Brown” (“You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown”) el 16 de junio. Tenemos muchos estudiantes que participarán en esta obra y varios estudiantes del octavo con papeles principales. ¡Felicidades a Nellie Baxandall, Maria Montalvo, José De Los Santos y a Zelda Mayer!

Dear Families,
The end of the school year is rapidly approaching. It has been a wonderful year and I am looking forward to reflecting on the experience over the summer. There are always areas of growth and I know that we will continue to work together to strengthen our school and community.
There are a few things I encourage parents to do before the end of the year. First, please take a moment to look through the ‘lost and found’, many classrooms have a box outside their door. Any items left at the end of the school year will be donated. Also, please return any library books to Ms. Melisa. The Library Media Department does important inventory and data work over the summer. Finally, please inform Ms. Sheila in the office if you are moving or your child will not be returning to Amigos next year.
Beyond the 4th Wall will open their play, “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” on June 16. We have many students participating in this play and several 8th graders with lead roles. Congratulations to Nellie Baxandall, Maria Montalvo, Jose De Los Santos and Zelda Mayer!
