Grade 5 - 8 Students Needed to Test a STEM Game
We are looking for students to test an NSF-funded Phase I  multi-player game for grades 5-8. Phase I work developed two mini games based on exploration of the ice age and K-T extinction and an interactive conversation with the Artificial Intelligence (AI) backed XA, Albert Einstein. The games are played by four participants on internet linked computers.  The four players are the crew (Pilot/Explorer, Navigator, Scientist, Guardian. I am looking for students to participate in testing at TERC and provide feedback. Testing will take about 2 hours during out of school time that will be arranged so that it is convenient for all. As a thank you, each participant will receive a gift card in the amount of $20. To express interest and for more information, please contact us.

Sick Day

Cambridge Public Health Flu Clinics:
Oct. 12–Nov. 9
Nasal spray vaccine will not be offered.

The Cambridge Public Health Department will be offering free flu shots (influenza vaccine) to people who live or work in Cambridge at sites throughout the city from Oct. 12 through Nov. 9.

The flu can be a serious illness, and the best way to protect yourself is to get a flu shot every year. Flu vaccine is considered safe and effective for adults and children over 6 months. While there is no charge to the public for flu shots, people with health insurance are encouraged to bring their cards with them to the clinics.
