Message from the Family Liaison
The air is cooling off and the school year is now well underway! Many of our classrooms have been going on autumn field trips such as apple and pumpkin picking. All of our kindergarteners have been learning about community helpers and have been taking walking field trips to the Post Office, Fire Station, and/or the Police Station. Our 2nd and 3rd graders have met their reading buddies from the Volpe Transportation Center and our 5th graders have visited with Draper Laboratories. We have been very busy!
There is plenty of happening the rest of the month as well. Title 1 is having their Let’s Cook and Move event on the 17th, our Kindergarten Thanksgiving Breakfast is the 22nd and our November K-Lo Market is on the 30th. We hope to see you! As always, if you have any questions about these event or other issues, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s classroom teacher or Nancy Wyse, Family Liaison (Email Nancy or 617.349.4565).

Pressing Apple Cider
With the help of our AWESOME CitySprouts Garden Coordinator, Shaylla Chess, all our kids got to press their own cider in our garden! They washed, cut, and pressed the apples themselves. It was a lot of hard work but totally worth it when they got to sample the product! Read testimonials from fourth graders about their experience >>
