¡Bienvenidos a diciembre! Espero todos hayan descansado durante el fin de semana largo del Día de Acción de Gracias y se sientan listos para el último mes del año.

Beyond the 4th Wall llevará acabo las audiciones de su próxima producción “El Rey León” en Amigos el jueves, 15 de diciembre en el salón 311 (tercer piso). Las audiciones para los estudiantes de 3ro a 8vo grado serán entre 3:00pm-4PM en dos tandas, una de 3 - 3:30PM y la segunda de 3:30 - 4PM. Habrá una hoja para apuntarse en la oficina. También puede apuntarse en la página Web. Si su hijo/a no puede asistir el 15 de diciembre, puede ir a las audiciones generales que se llevarán acabo el 12 de diciembre en Dance Complex (536 Mass Ave).

Me gustaría invitar a que cualquier padre/madre o encargado que desee participar del proyecto del video para reclutamiento se comunique conmigo. Una de nuestras metas de diversidad, es crear una serie de videos cortos en diferentes idiomas para publicar en nuestra página Web. Estamos buscando a personas que puedan grabar una pequeña parte en otros idiomas que no sean español e inglés.

Dear Families,

Welcome to December! I hope that everyone had a restful Thanksgiving break and feel ready for this last month of the year.

Beyond the 4th Wall will be holding auditions for their next play “The Lion King” Thursday, December 15 in room 311 (third floor) at Amigos. The auditions for 3rd to 8th graders will take place between 3 - 4PM in two shifts, one from 3 - 3:30PM and the second from 3:30 - 4PM. There will be a sign up sheet at the Office. You can also sign up online. If December 15th does not work for your child, a general audition will be taking place at the Dance Complex (536 Mass Ave) on December 12th.

I would also like to invite any parents interested in participating in a recruitment video project to be in touch with me. As one of our diversity goals, we hope to create a series of short videos in a variety of languages for our web page. We are particularly looking for people who could record a small piece in a language other than Spanish or English.

Saturday Engineering Enrichment 
and Discovery (SEED) Academy
The Office of Engineering Outreach Programs at MIT has recently opened our online application for Saturday Engineering Enrichment and Discovery (SEED) Academy, a five-and-a-half-year academic enrichment and career exploration program for public school students who have a strong academic record and interest in science and engineering. The application is open to 7th-10th graders who live in and attend school in Boston, Cambridge, or Lawrence.
