Happy Secretary's Day
Students from Room 282 came by the office to wish Ms. Fay a happy secretary's day! The students wrote a poem for her and thanked her for all her hard work.

Spring Tea in Room 283!
In Room 283, Spring Tea Ceremony on April 12 was a joyful celebration of grace and courtesy. The students baked delicious cookies and made fruit kabobs, arranged the classroom so that it looked like an elegant tea room, and practiced how to be graceful hosts. Everybody had fun! We would like to thank our room parents, Taraneh, Alina, and Alexandra, for helping the students get ready for the ceremony. A Big Thank You
On Saturday, April 8th, Friends of Tobin held their Annual Auction at the Cambridge Youth Center on Huron Ave. Lots of enthusiastic bidders came out to enjoy the evening. Everything from gift certificates to local restaurants to a weekend getaway were given to the highest bidder! A huge thank you goes out to the Friends of Tobin for putting on this amazing event every year!
Spring Allergies
It’s lovely to see the trees and flowers blooming again, but their arrival brings pollen and seasonal allergies. Some kids are especially sensitive to the pollen, and the symptoms can distract them from their school work. The health office cannot supply allergy medications (antihistamines, eye drops, nasal sprays). If your child needs medication for his or her allergies, make sure that you give the medication before s/he leaves for school. These medications work best when given regularly. Please do not give your child Benadryl to relieve allergy discomfort or send allergy medications with your child to school. If your child feels especially uncomfortable, talk with your doctor or nurse practitioner about the best way to treat allergy discomfort.
