Estimadas familias,

Dear Families,
This week we enjoyed a wonderful instrumental and choral concert presented by the upper school students. It was great to hear them playing songs from movies such as the “Pink Panther”, “Mission Impossible” and “Bear Necessities”.
Also, our 5th grade students along with Ms. Hamel, participated in the American Young Voices “Biggest School Chorus in the World” conducted by Francisco Núñez. They travelled to the Tsongas Arena and did an amazing job representing our school. A big thank you goes out to Ms. Hamel and all teachers and staff who helped make this event possible.
We also hosted about 20 plus CRLS students, all graduates of Amigos, who came to talk to our 8th graders about the transition to high school. It was exciting to see our graduates and hear from them!
There will be no newsletter next week as I will be enjoying New York City with our 8th graders. This is their culminating trip and we will be visiting El Museo del Barrio, Broadway, Ellis Island and other great NYC sights.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Sarah Bartels-Marrero

Reminder!
Please be reminded that students should not bring toys or trading cards to school. These items are disruptive to the educational process and are often lost, broken or given away without parental permission. This includes fidget spinners. This latest fad is extremely distracting and causes more harm than help.
I thank you in advance for your support with this issue.
