RAUC Musical--A Huge Success!!
Kudos to the talented RAUC students and the ever-inspiring Josh DeWitte and Summar Elguindy for the wonderful performances of the RAUC original musical, Chasing Fate, on Thursday and Friday last week. The music, dance, and story line kept the audience in rapt attention. Student actors, musicians, tech crew, and stagehands made it two nights to remember. The RAUC community is also grateful to the Visual and Performing Arts Department for all their support in making the musical move from an idea to reality!

Parent Information Meetings for Rising 6th Graders
What will 6th grade be like? What can students and families look forward to Ms. Boadu and Ms. Craven will hold two parent information meetings:
Wednesday, June 6 | 6PM | RAUC/Peabody Library
Thursday, June 7 | 9AM | Baldwin
Fifth grade families from both schools are welcome to either venue. This will be the same information that students heard at our Rise Up Day May 26.
School Council Meeting
Wednesday, June 6 | 7:30AM
Note the date change, as Ms. Craven and Mr. Everhart will be in DC during the regularly scheduled meeting. All are welcome to hear the most recent draft of our school improvement plan (SIP), along with a SIP budget proposal. The council meets in the RAUC conference room.
8th Grade Caps and Gowns
If your student hasn’t turned in their cap and gown money, please do so asap! They can bring $16.95 to Ms. Linette--or whatever amount is comfortable for your family; additional contributions are also welcome. Remember to consider donating the cap and gown to the school after graduation, so we can begin a tradition of recycling them for future use.
8th Grade Graduation Tickets
Each student is guaranteed three tickets. If you want more, let Ms. Boadu know as soon as possible! We already took a first round of requests and were able to accommodate everyone who asked by the May 26 deadline. There are still some extra seats available, so get your request in by this Friday, June 9 to Ms. Boadu, or call the school at 617.349.4060.
