The Joy of Music
A spring concert is a wonderful way to start your day. Students in grades JK - 4 showed off their musical knowledge on May 31 under the instruction of their teachers. Ms. Campbell-Giannini led the 3rd and 4th grade while Mr. Epstein lead the JK - 2 students. The Kodaly method of teaching music literacy teaches students to read music and sing fun, folk songs.

With + Math = I Can!
The annual math carnival was an evening of hands-on math games and activities for students and their parents. Thank you to Jayne Lynch, our Math Coach for organizing an amazing evening. The carnival could not have happened without the students from STEM Club who helped man the tables. Thank you to the many teachers for their support. Thank you to the Friends of Baldwin for sponsoring the prizes. Thank you to the 3rd and 4th grade parents for helping with the food sale, especially to Audrey, Carmen, Hadar, Krista, Alicia, Lindsey, Kitty, Sarah, Andrea, Anne, Nikki, Erin, Sonya, Melissa, Elizabeth, Cathy, Kaitlin and Jascha. Thank you to our amazing custodial staff, Bob, Tony and Neff for their assistance in set up and clean up. It was truly a huge team effort. What a joyful way to experience math and recognize math in our everyday lives.

STEM club

Thank You, STEM Volunteers!
The always popular STEM Club concluded the year making their own stomp rockets. It was a truly remarkable year of fun experiments and exploration. The kids learned about lighting and movies, electromagnetism, chemical transformation, robotics, the physics of roller coasters, engineering of bridges, architecture, TinkerCad, bristlebots and much more. There were many parents who volunteered to help on Friday mornings. Parents are the reason why STEM Club is so successful. A very special thank you to Kjersti Rosen for spearheading STEM Club this year. Thank you to Todd Zickler for his guidance in the fall. Thank you to Jayne Lynch for always being there. Thank you to Ms. Kugel and Mr. Beucler for this support and their assistance with TinkerCad.
