Be a Part of the CSUS Parent Caregiver Organization!
All parents and caregivers are encouraged to attend next meeting of the CSUS Parent Caregiver Organization (PCO) on Wednesday October 4 at 6:30PM, in room 312 of the school. Elections will be held for officer positions, so those who would like to serve in the following roles are especially urged to attend: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer.
All PCO meetings are open to all parents and caregivers and are attended by Principal Fernandez and/or Assistant Principal Sohn in addition to teacher representatives.
The PCO supports the educational activities of CSUS as needed and fosters community engagement. The PCO assists the school administration by providing volunteer help with activities and events, and it coordinates fundraising efforts. See the following page for a more detailed description of
the PCO.
Currently, meetings of the PCO are held on the first Wednesday evening of every month at CSUS in room 312. Once we have elected a new president, the regular day and time of this meeting may be changed, depending on the
convenience of the president.
The PCO makes decisions about how PCO funds are raised and dispersed and maintains a website.
You have a lot to give, even if it’s just your opinion! Please consider joining the PCO as an officer or simply attend the next meeting to meet parents, talk with the principal and find out about the activities and goals of CSUS.
Questions? Feel free to contact PCO Vice President Monica Velgos at 617.491.9031. Hope to see you on October 4th at 6:30 pm at CSUS! Learn more about the PCO >>
