Taking a Tour of the Fire Station
Room 284 headed over to the Fire Station on Lexington Avenue this week.

All the students had an amazing time talking to the firefighters and learning about all the things they do to keep us safe!

Have a jacket or two that your child has outgrown? Hang it up on the rack (next to the lost and found)? Need a jacket? Take what you need.

Want to donate a winter jacket? We will be collecting kids size coats for Coats For Kids sponsored by Anton's Cleaners and Jordan's Furniture.

Last year we were able to donate more than 50 jackets!
Lets see if we can top that this year!

Cultural Night
Dear Friends,

International Night, renamed Multicultural Night, is coming soon (Wed. Nov. 8) and we're looking forward to putting together another year of fantastic Activity Tables. Last year was absolutely amazing. So many Tobin parents and teachers commented positively on the number of volunteers manning Activity Tables and how moving it was to see such diverse cultures proudly shared.

Kindess Rocks

Kindness Rock Project
Room 204 started off the school year participated in the Kindness Rock Project. Rocks were gathered in New Hampshire and at Nahant Beach. The rocks ere painted with inspirational words. All the rocks were placed in a "Rock Garden" in front of the school.

Need a little lift? Stop by.... it just might be a rock that keeps you smiling!

Cubs Corner

Working Together to Make a Difference
On Friday, October 13th, Tobin Montessori hosted a major volunteer event through the Boston Cares Organization. Boston Cares is an organization that works with corporations who are seeking to positively impact communities through volunteer opportunities. Last Friday, 100 volunteers from the corporation, Shire, arrived at Tobin Montessori at 9AM. They were greeted by Mayor Simmons, Tobin Administration, and Michael Shires. The volunteers were enthusiastic and excited about the work at Tobin. Learn more about the completed projects >>

3-Year-Old Sibling Registration Time!
Last Call! Mary will accept sibling applications until next Friday, October 19th.
Do you have a child at home who will be 3 years old by August 31, 2018? If so, you need to register your child during the month of October. Mary Frawley will be happy to take the sibling registration forms for you through October 19th. Stop by the office for an application or you can download one online. See flyer >>
