Scooters on Rails
The Tobin Scooter Parking area now has RAILS! We can now safely lock up our scooters! On Thursday, October 2nd, we were once again graced by the talents of Leo Silva, a contractor with the CPSD Facilities Department, who installed these shiny new rails. Many thanks to the efforts of everyone in the office, including Paul, our head custodian, for joining in on our "brainstorming" session and coming up with such a great idea!

Parent Ed 101
On September 24th, Montessori Coach Erin Gutierrez presented the FIRST of THREE Parent Ed Workshops this year on Montessori in the Classroom and at home. Attendance was light, but enlightening insight was abundant! Here is a link to Erin's presentation, which includes (among other things) a great overview of the types of works and materials your child will encounter as they progress through stages of development and learning.
