King Arthur

King Arthur is Coming! King Arthur is Coming!
The King Arthur Flour Company is coming to the King School on November 4th. They will have a bread making demonstration for our 4th and 5th grade students and then send them off with all the fixings to make two loaves at home. One loaf is to be brought back to school where we will walk them over to a local food pantry at the CEOC building on Inman St. We will deliver the goods there. Please help your child bake their bread and fully participate in this community event.

Back pack Program

The Weekend Backpack Program is Looking for Volunteers
The King School is proud to be one of the schools in the district that offer backpacks full of nutritious food items for select families to enjoy over the weekends. We are looking for people who can pick the supplies up at the Tobin School in the mornings and get them to the King School as well as folks to fill bags and distribute them to students. Interested? Contact Pamela Mindell.

CLASSROOM VOLUNTEERS
If you would like to play more of a role in your child’s classroom, let the teachers know. Volunteer as a room parent or to help out as needed with a project or activity. Ask your teacher how you can be most helpful. No experience necessary. An involved parent makes for a better school experience for all.
