What Learning Looks Like...
Thanksgiving Bags
Our Thanksgiving Bag drive was a terrific success. Thank you to all the helping hands who made it happen, including Gail Nunes and her group of 5th grade girl’s group, Elizabeth Haley who got us our bags, the families who were open to receiving the bags, Sarah Howard Parker who picked up the turkeys and Mayflower Poultry who donated them….and all the folks who donated food. MANY THANKS!
Our Families
Families are happy to be coming and going. School is a great place for learning and growing!
Who Are the People
in Your Neighborhood?
Meet our counseling intern Patty Lytwyn!
How long have you been at C’port? Since the beginning of the school year – 3 months now. Time flies!
What is something about you few people know? I spent 9 years of my life working as a flight attendant.
What is the most adventurous thing you have ever done? When I was a flight attendant I did a 24 hour trip to Dublin. I went from CO to NY to Dublin and then flew home. I also moved from the East Coast to CA without knowing anyone and without having a job or place to live.
Other than counseling, what is your dream job? Being able to do multiple jobs but do a private practice. I would like to incorporate animal therapy and other holistic modalities for kids and children.
What kind of animal would you be? A cat. I think they are often misunderstood but are very affectionate. An orange, fluffy cat.
