Sibling Kindergarten Registration
Do you have a younger child who is ready to start school in Cambridge? CPS holds the Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten Lottery in January. If your child was born between September 1, 2010 and March 31, 2011 he/she is eligible for JK in September 2015. If your child will be 5 years old by August 31, 2015 he/she is eligible for K in September 2015. Please be on the lookout for a letter with details on how to register siblings here at Cambridgeport for a limited time: January 5-8, 2015.

Small Talk. Big Change.
Did you know? Simply talking with babies, toddlers, and preschoolers during everyday activities prepares them for school...years later! How? Talking develops young brains and builds vocabulary, making it easier to learn how to read. Let’s Talk! is a free early literacy program in Cambridge that offers services for moms, dads and child care providers – including workshops, literacy home visits, and fun family events.
For tips and resources on ways to support young children, connect with Let’s Talk! at www.letstalkcambridge.org, on Facebook (facebook.com/LetsTalkCambMA) and Twitter (@LetsTalkCambMA)!
