National Disabilities Awareness Month
Our November RISE (responsibility, individual, self, environment) assembly recognized National Disability Awareness Month with Kristin Hartness from Canines for Disabled Kids. Ms Hartness, who lives with a disability, came in with her service dog and talked with our students about the important role that service animals play in the lives of adults and children with disabilities. Gently Used Clothing Donations Needed
Please donate gently used clothing to the King School. We are currently accepting clothing to keep on-site for students. Please send in clothes in sizes 3T - adult large. Accepted items include: socks, stockings, leggings, pants, skirts/dresses, t-shirts, sweaters/sweatshirts, shirts, outerwear, and shoes/boots. Clothes must be clean and ready to wear (no repairs needed). Thank you in advance!
