A Four Seasons Play
After spending the fall exploring the New England Biome, students in Rooms 211 & 279 wrote A Four Seasons Play, which they performed at assembly on Tuesday, Jan 13th. Some of their follow-up work was to write about the seasons. Students donned costumes and described the adaptation of different plants, animals, and people to the various conditions of Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall. Great job, Ms. Walcott’s and Ms. Brittany’s students!
Marshmallows & Learning
On January 14, the Children's House teachers attended the district conference. The topic was Documentation with a Purpose: Observing, Assessing, and Enhancing the Learning. The marshmallow structure seen on the table was a part of the Marshmallow Challenge, and we won!
