Family Opera
North Cambridge Family Opera is looking for adults and kids 5 and older to sing “A Little Light Music: Songs of Electromagnetic Radiation” as part of the Cambridge Science Festival in April. “A Little Light Music” is a collection of kid-friendly songs about light and other parts of the electromagnetic spectrum by several different composers. The topics are as diverse as Northern Lights, radio waves, different parts of the spectrum seen by different animals, and sunburn. Rehearsals will include a brief, accessible discussion of the science behind the songs.
Rehearsals are Wednesdays from 6 - 7:30PM at the Peabody School, and start January 28. The performances are April 19, 25, and 26. This is a great activity for parents and kids to enjoy together. Come check it out at either of the first two rehearsals, January 28 or February 4!
