A Little Light Music: Songs of Electromagnetic Radiation
North Cambridge Family Opera is looking for adults and kids 5 and older to sing, A Little Light Music: Songs of Electromagnetic Radiation.
As part of the Cambridge Science
Festival in April. A Little Light Music is a collection of kid-friendly
songs about light and other parts of the electromagnetic spectrum by
several different composers. The topics are as diverse as Northern
Lights, radio waves, different parts of the spectrum seen by different
animals, and sunburn. We will also sing a medley of songs composed last
year by Cambridge Public School students as part of the songwriting
workshops led by David Haines. Rehearsals will include a brief,
accessible discussion of the science behind the songs.
