Help Needed for Staff Appreciation Lunch

Staff Appreciation Luncheon
Tuesday, March 13 | 11:15AM

**TIME CHANGE!**
Due to scheduling conflicts, lunch will be served starting at 11:15AM. All donations should be left in the main office.

Each year, the families at the VLUS and Tobin Montessori say "Thank you for all you do" to our staff by having a nice lunch for them in the cafeteria. This yearly event is amazing because of your generosity! Just e-mail Joanna Fischer at [email protected] or [email protected] to let us know what you will be bringing.

Food Needs:
–8 Large Salads
–20 Main Dishes
–15 desserts
Note: Each dish should serve 8-10 people. Paper products & beverages will be provided. Please use disposable containers if possible, with reheating directions attached. Also, it is very helpful if you tell us what ingredients are in the dish...vegan...vegetarian, etc.

Set-Up & Clean-Up Needs:
We really need some help here!! Child care will be provided if you decide you would like to help in the kitchen.

Moving Up
Attention parents of children in kindergarten and grade 3! Your child will be moving up a level and we want you to have all the information you need for this transition.

Please Join Us On:
–Wednesday, March 21 at 8AM if your child is entering Lower Elementary
–Thursday, March 22 at 8AM if your child is entering Upper Elementary

Staff from both grade levels will be there to give you an overview of what to expect in these grades levels and answer any questions you may have about this transition.

The Annual Book Fair was HUGE success because you came to shop.... you came to volunteer.... and you help support our students and staff!

Cambridge Winter Farmers Market
Come join us for a cozy and fun filled Saturday at the Cambridge Winter Farmers Market!

Saturdays, January 6 - April 7 | 10AM-2PM 
Cambridge Community Center, 5 Callender Street

Local fruits, vegetables, herbs, meat, fish, cheese & eggs! Hot coffee, fresh juice, warm breakfast, lunch options and prepared foods too! Come enjoy live music, free samples and activities for all ages each and every week! SNAP accepted and matched up to $15. This means if you spend $15 from your SNAP account, you'll have $30 to spend at the market. We also have 4 HIP vendors - a family of 2 gets their first $40 of fruits and vegetables a month for free!

Saturday, March 10th will feature: ~ Live Music: Jack Knife Valentines from 10-12 ~ Live Martial Arts demonstration with Oom Yung Doe from 12-2 ~ Make fruit and vegetable stamps to create springtime patters on paper with Snowdrop Montessori! ~ Start spring seedlings with Upgrade Cambridge! ~ Create paper plate whales with BC Splash! ~ Our brand new Mac Lab will be open to the community during market hours! Children welcome to use computers with adult supervision.
