A Note from Principal Tony Byers
On January 15th, the entire school gathered in the auditorium to honor Martin Luther King, Jr. and to celebrate the Civil Rights Movement. For our assembly, we focused on lessons learned from the Civil Rights Movement as expressed in its music. Read more from Tony >>

Tony Out on Paternity Leave
Principal Tony Byers is expecting his second child in February. When the time comes, he'll be out of school on paternity leave for a few weeks. In his absence, Barry McNulty, our former assistant principal, will be filling in.

We Need Your Help
1. Many of our faculty and staff drive long distances to get to G&P. It's important that there are parking spaces for them when they get here and that they are able to leave promptly after school. Over the last few weeks, cars belonging to parents have been parked in or have blocked exit from our lots during arrival and dismissal. Please don't park in the staff parking lot at any time.

2. On a related note: The area in front of the school is FOR BUSES ONLY. Please do not pull up or park in front of the school on Linnaean Street. Please park your car elsewhere and walk your child into the building. Alternatively, our wonderful crossing guard Dawn can assist children crossing the street at the crosswalk directly in front of the school.

Four G&P Students Accepted into
All-State Treble Chorus

March 21 | 1-3 PM | Seaport Hotel, Boston
Congratulations to the four Graham and Parks students who auditioned for and were accepted to the 2015 MMEA All-State Treble Chorus! The students are: Shirin Cooper, Bethel Hineshim, Oliver Leek, and Anna Wendelin.

After Hours School Access

Do you need to enter the building after school hours? RING! RING! RING! Please, do NOT PROP DOORS OPEN after school hours. There are TWO afterschool programs each day. We need to ensure the safety of the children in those programs.

If you need to get in the building, please ring:
1. The buzzer on the Walker Street side for Community Schools or any afternoon or evening event; OR
2. Dragonfly’s buzzer on the playground side of the building.

Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our students safe and sound!
