Montessori Math Morning was a Major Success! Nearly 100 family and friends were able to attend! Many thanks to all who were able to make it through the piles of snow and slush. The Wordle (see above) was designed from a compilation of comments left by family and friends for our Montessori Mathematicians. More photos from the morning are below...
Friends of Tobin Winter Appeal
Be a part of the Friends of Tobin's Winter Fundraising Appeal and help us raise our Tobin family participation rate from its current level of 6% to our 2012 level of 35%!!
Last year, Friends of Tobin (our parent-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization) distributed more than $13,000 to fund enrichment opportunities for our students, including, but not limited to:
–summer reading books about Harriet Tubman
–new sheet music for our exceptional Kodaly music program –library
–the Upper Elementary overnight trip
–the Lower Elementary visit to Plimoth Plantation
–rented tables and tablecloths for the International Night
–family cultural activities
–author visits
–Dance in the Schools
–six garden beds for the Children's House patios
–Fresh Pond Field Studies materials
