Dear Families,

With all these snow days it feels like a long time ago but we had a wonderful Multicultural Night this past Saturday!! It seems like each year the event gets better and it is exciting to highlight the diverse families and cultures we have here at Amigos. Our middle school students spoke about culture, race and the power of bilingualism and I was so proud to hear them speak. The 8th grade also ran an auction and raised more money to support their trip to NYC! It was a really beautiful event. I want to take a moment and thank the Student Council, the Social and Cultural Working Committee and Friends of Amigos (FOA) for organizing such a fantastic event!!

Estimadas familias,

Con todos estos días de nieve, parece que fue hace mucho tiempo, ¡pero tuvimos una maravillosa Noche Multicultural el sábado pasado! Parece que cada año el evento mejora y es emocionante resaltar las diversas familias y culturas que tenemos aquí en Amigos. Nuestros estudiantes de la escuela intermedia hablaron sobre cultura, raza y el poder del bilingüismo y me sentí muy orgullosa al escucharlos. ¡El octavo grado también realizó una subasta y recaudó más dinero para apoyar su viaje a la ciudad de Nueva York! Fue un evento realmente hermoso. ¡Quiero tomar un momento para agradecer al Consejo Estudiantil, al Comité Social y Cultural y Amigos de Amigos (FOA) por organizar un evento tan fantástico!
