Incoming Friends!
Wednesday was a very exciting day here at Tobin! We invited all the families who will be coming to the school in September to see the school, visit a classroom, and meet a new kindergarten friend! We can't wait to see you all in September!

In the Classroom
In Technology with Ms. Rosenberg, Upper El students practice taking photos using their new knowledge of shot composition: rule of thirds, headroom, and leadroom.

Phone Calls to the Classroom
If you are trying to reach your child's classroom during the school day, the phone will not ring in the classroom. It only rings in the classroom before or after school. If you need to get a message to your child, please call the office and we will be happy to relay the message. Thanks!

Summer Camp
Time is running out and spaces are filling up for summer camp. If you have not made plans for the summer, now is the time!!! If you need some assistance, I am happy to help – [email protected] or 617.349.6600 x153

Cambridge Adventure Day Camp has openings for 6-11 year olds. Camp registration is open. Our website is cambridgecamping.org and all information is updated. We encourage families to sign up early as we had a significant wait list by the end of May last year! For camp registration, folks have the option to email or call me directly – or simply stop by the office, Tues, Weds or Thurs from 9-5PM, (until April, when I will be here every work day).

Go Green Challenge
The Go Green Challenge is a competition run each year in Cambridge Public Schools in partnership with the Department of Public Works (DPW). Every elementary classroom teacher receives a sheet to fill out with his or her students, indicating green actions they are taking together, such as recycling, having a plant in the classroom, or printing double-sided. New in 2018 is a "Go Green at Home Challenge" for students to take home and bring back.
