Read Across America Day

March is for Literacy
On March 2, Dr. Seuss’s birthday, the King School kicked off our annual Read Across America event. Every page that students read during the month of March counts as one mile. Our goal as a school is to read our way from Earth to the moon, about 238,000 miles or pages! Read more >>

From the School Nurse
Please be advised, students in grades 1-5 will have hearing and vision screenings on Monday, March 2 and Friday, March 13. Please return the notice only if you do not want to have your child participates in the screening. If your child is referred for further evaluation, you will receive a follow-up letter or phone call. Parents, please turn in copies of your child's physicals to the School Health Office. As they see their doctor's for check ups and immunizations, it's important that their School Health records are also up to date. Please send in any physical forms from the past year if you have not already done so.
