Read Across America Day
On Monday, March 2nd, the Tobin Montessori School celebrated Read Across America Day. Mayor Mayer came to room 282 and read Caps For Sale. Dr. Turk visited 279 and read one of her favorite books, A Fly Went By, by Dr. Suess. Thank you Mayor Maher and Dr. Turk for taking the time from your busy day to read your favorite stories to us!

Lunar New Year
Jenny and Andrew Wang visited room 283 to help us celebrate Lunar New Year, also known as Chinese New Year. Daniel shared lanterns, decorations, and food. The students learned how to make a lantern in red, the lucky color for Lunar New Year. We sampled some traditional Chinese treats and learned more about this great holiday!
