Classroom Highlight
This Week We Are Featuring: Sarah Rosenberg, Our Technology Specialist!
What is a favorite project you worked on this year?
I really liked the editing project we did in the fall with Upper Elementary. I gave the students a silent cartoon clip and they had to add music, sound effects and trim it down to under 1 minute while still keeping the story in tact (or creating a different storyline altogether). The final videos were so creative.
Tell us a few everyday examples of kindness shown by the students.
Since we do a lot of group projects in Technology class, I get to see fantastic teamwork everyday. Students volunteer to help each other with filming, computers and even cleaning up other people’s messes!
How do you and the students start and end your day?
Almost every class starts with logging into our Chromebooks and ends with cleaning up camera equipment or devices and checking our Class Dojo.
Welcome Marguis, Our New Custodian!
Marguis comes to us from the Morse School and he was a student at the Tobin School! We are so happy to have Marguis part of the Tobin Community!
