Teacher Appreciation Lunch | May 13
National Teacher Appreciation is celebrated in May. To thank our school teachers and staff, we will have our annual Teacher Appreciation Luncheon on Wednesday, May 13, an early release day. This is an opportunity to show your appreciation to our teachers and staff for the effort they put into each and every day. Please support the annual luncheon by providing a side dish, green salad, fruit salad, dessert, or your favorite thing to prepare for the lunch. Remember to label your platters/containers. These items may be brought to school on Wednesday morning, May 13th. The Friends of Baldwin help provide the main dish. If you would like to help with set-up or clean-up, or if you have any questions, please contact Susan at [email protected] or 617.349.4377. Thank you.

News from the Garden

As the winter seems to be winding down, we are beginning to wake the garden up for the spring. I will be in school on Wednesday afternoons (12:30-4PM) and Friday mornings (8AM-12PM). We are working to get the garden shoveled and soil warm so that we can begin planting as soon as possible! I will be working with classes doing indoor activities or seed tray planting. In addition, I hope to get classes to brave the cold and help wake the garden up with me. Happy Spring!
–Michele Kaufman, Garden Coordinator, CitySprouts
