5th Grade Technology Media Literacy Unit
The 5th graders have begun the Media Literacy Unit in Technology Class. This curriculum will help students begin to understand the role of media in society and build the essential skills of inquiry and critical thinking. Students will analyze and evaluate the purpose, meaning, and perspective of various types of media.
Finally, students will learn to use these skills to create thoughtful media of their own. Kathy's class showcased some of their work at our Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Assembly, but you can see it here. Animation was created with Stykz, Soundtrack was created with Garageband, video was edited with iMovie. Contact Sarah for more info.

you want your children to be able to walk or bike to school safely? Do

Help us learn your thoughts about children walking and biking to school
in Cambridge by completing our survey. It will take about five minutes
and we ask that you complete a survey for each of your children. Please
