Please Join Us for our Back to
School BBQ
September 27 | 4 - 7PM
The Specialists and Ni Hao Chinese teachers will host 15 min mini meet and greet sessions from 4 - 5PM. Classroom teachers will host families in two groups 5 - 5:30PM and 5:30 - 6PM. Join us in the playground and enjoy a BBQ and dance party. Please bring a nut free side salad or dish to share. Don’t forget to label your dishes.

Support

Peer Parent Support Group

The Peer Parent Support Group will have its first meeting of the year on September 21st at 10:30AM. The meeting is led by Sharon Castro, a trained facilitator from Bay Cove Human Services. Parenting is hard. Community makes it easier. Parents of students with IEPs or other services are encouraged to join.

Classroom Breakfasts
Classroom breakfasts are fun and a great way to build community in the classroom. Let's make them healthier by providing nut-free, energizing nutritious options so everyone can start the day right! Ideas for classroom breakfasts include: low sugar cereal, cheese, fruit, yogurt, eggs/quiche, cultural dishes, and smoothies.

Clothes

The Spot
Did you know that Cambridge Public Schools, "The Spot" has free gently used clothing, shoes, pants, shirts, skirts, jackets, coats, and many more items for Cambridge families who are in need. We have items available for all ages and sizes for babies, young, children, teens, and adults. Please note it depends on what we have available at the time of your order. Please contact Mary Grassi at 617.349.6490 for more information. 

Wanted: Clothing Donations
The nurse needs donated bottoms of ALL SIZES if you have gently used, clean elastic-waisted pants or socks please send them in.

Reminder
Please label all of your children’s coats, jackets and extra clothes. The lost and found was overflowing last year. If items are labeled we can get them to their rightful owner.
