Reflections from Katie
What is School Home Partnership Night? It’s happening next week! Wednesday, September 26th, 5:30-7:30PM. Read on for specific information.

At Cambridgeport, we truly believe that we can do our best work as educators when we work in partnership with families. The purpose of School Home Partnership Night is to provide time and space for families as a group to form partnerships with one another and also to form partnerships with the classroom teacher and specialist teachers.

Garden News:
Volunteer with Your Child's Class to Help Press Apple Cider in the School Garden!

During CitySprouts' Annual Cider Pressing we introduce children and teachers to the school garden by setting up an apple press and teaching kids how to make cider. We would love parent/guardian volunteers to help set up, do a little crowd control, and clean up afterwards. Come enjoy fresh cider and see how much the kids love being outside in the garden. We will press cider at Cambridgeport on October 29, 31, and November 1. If interested, contact Andrea Locke at [email protected].

Who Are the People
in Your Neighborhood?
Meet Magnus, a Kindergartener in Justin's Class

What grade are you in?
I am in Kindergarten. I started K, not today but on a different day.

What do you want to be when you grow up?
A scientist studying plants.

What is your favorite part of the school day?
Science workshop. I like to use rubber bands. I stretch them.

If you could be an animal what animal would you be?
A rhino! Giraffes are bigger than rhinos but a rhino can scare a giraffe. I want to jump on a giraffe and run as fast as it can.
