Show and Tell
Show and Tell

Omar Elkhadir, a Room 283 Kindergarten student, brought a guitar as his show and tell. Omar likes music and learns how to play a guitar. We all look forward to attending more presentations by this young musician.

Classics Caravan
Teachers share their favorite classic childhood books to inspire Tobin students to find a favorite classic of their own. All Upper El students filmed and edited interviews with teachers and staff and the final edition is ready for your viewing! We hope this inspires you to read a classic and add to the Caravan on the wall in the hallway. View video >>

Winter Concert
Friday, February 1 | 8:15AM

The winter concert will feature kindergarten through fourth graders. Fifth graders will join K-4 students to sing the world premiere of "The Sound of Hope," a collaboration between composer Jim Papoulis and our students.

Three- and four-year-olds will attend the dress rehearsal the day before.

Please make sure your children wear concert white and black (white blouses or shirts, black pants or skirts).

Please leave in plenty of time to park the car! There will be NO parking in the front circle of the school.

Call for Volunteers
We are preparing for the Winter Concert and we need your help! We would like display student artwork in conjunction with the concert, and we need help with hanging and preparing work to be displayed. If you are interested in helping out, please contact Ms. Yuliya or Mr. Reynolds ASAP! j[email protected] or [email protected]

Parent Education Series: Montessori at Home – January 23 | 8AM
Please join us for a parent education session on the basics of the bringing the Montessori model into your home. We will dig into the challenges you face at home, find the school-home connection to increase your success at home, learn how to honor your child's budding independence, and how to provide experiences that build upon what your child is learning at school.

We encourage our students to be active learners, and we hope you will join us on this journey, too. Even experienced families can learn something here, or share what they have learned with other families.
