This year, CPS is upgrading our traditional paper “Family Contact Books” and replacing them with a new, secure, online system that we are calling familybook. We hope you will agree this was worth the wait!
If you have previously signed up to participate in your child’s “Family Contact Book,” your name will already appear in familybook.
Head over there now and start connecting with families at school!
If you like familybook but never signed up, opt in with one click to allow your information to be visible to other families at the same school. Opting out is also easy--just one click away.
This new system is connected to the CPS student database (Aspen), so familybook will be available year-round, with changes to contact information reflected soon after they have been verified by the school. You can log in any time using your child's Student ID# and birth date, and you can print it out, in case you'd like to keep a hard copy on hand.
