fire safety
287 and Fire Safety!
Jack, from Miss Sumi's class, had a special visitor come to his classroom this week. Kevin Michaud – who is Jack's Grandfather and is also a New York Firefighter – came to talk to the students about fire safety. The students got to try on some of the equipment and everyone got to bring home their very own fire helmet! Jack's Grandmother Peggy Michaud joined in on the fun, too! Thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Michaud for taking the time to teach us about fire safety!

IMPORTANT THINGS TO REMEMBER BY MISTER ROGERS

There's an old Italian proverb: Qui va piano, va sano, va lentano. "The person who goes quietly, goes with health and goes far." Hurrying up and using a lot of shortcuts doesn't get us very far at all.
