Dear Amigos Community
It’s back to school time again! I hope everyone had a wonderful summer full of fun and relaxation. It was a busy summer for me but, thankfully, I was able to carve out a bit of rest time for myself. I was also able to dedicate time to my own professional development by attending the National Principal’s Conference and participating in a training offered by the Institute for Restorative Schools based at the Center for Restorative Justice at Suffolk University. ¡Es hora de volver a la escuela! Espero que todos hayan pasado un verano maravilloso lleno de diversión y relajación. Fue un verano muy ajetreado para mí, pero afortunadamente pude encontrar momentos de descanso. También pude dedicar tiempo a mi propio desarrollo profesional asistiendo a la Conferencia Nacional de Directores y participando en una formación ofrecida por el Instituto para Escuelas de Restauración con sede en el Centro para la Justicia Restaurativa de la Universidad de Suffolk. Please remember:
Classroom instruction starts at 8:55AM. Beginning at this time, important learning takes place each day. While students are required to be at school by 8:55AM, we strongly encourage families to have their children arrive at 8:40 in order to maximize learning time. Students taking the bus arrive between 8:20 and 8:35 barring any unexpected circumstances.
There is no parking in front of the school during arrival and dismissal. Buses need to load and unload, and cannot do so if cars are parked there.

El horario de clase comienza a la 8:55AM. Cada día, a esta hora comienzan las labores de aprendizaje importantes. Si bien es cierto que los alumnos deben llegar a la escuela antes de las 8:55AM, les pedimos a las familias que los niños lleguen a las 8:40AM para maximizar el tiempo de aprendizaje. Los alumnos que toman el autobús llegan entre las 8:20 y las 8:35 AM, siempre y cuando no haya algún imprevisto.
No se puede estacionar o aparcar en frente de la escuela durante la hora de llegada y de salida. Los autobuses necesitan que los alumnos puedan subir y bajar de los mismos y no pueden realizar esta tarea si carros están estacionados allí.
