Cultural Night is November 6th!
Cultural Night is THIS coming Wednesday, November 6th and we hope you can join us!
This annual event is the highlight of the school year!
If you plan on joining us, here is the agenda for the evening.
Many families will be wearing their native dress. We hope you will join them!
5PM: Bring the dish you prepared to share to the front door. A staff member will greet you and take the dish to the kitchen to be set up at the buffet. The dish should be enough for 8-10 people to enjoy. Please make a card stating what the dish is and the list of ingredients.
5-6PM: Please head to the gym so you and your family can enjoy the displays from various countries.
It's not too late for you to sign up to register your country. Contact [email protected] or [email protected].
5:30-6:15PM: The international buffet will be served. Please follow the directions of the staff members in the cafeteria. You will be informed in the gym when the buffet is ready to be served.
6:15-7PM: The Cultural Day video will be shown and the evening will come to a joyful end!
If you have any questions, please contact Mary at [email protected].
Potluck Fun
The Welcome Families Potluck in Room 283 was a joyful and successful event. All parents, siblings, and students enjoyed sharing interesting conversations and having wonderful meals. Some of the families brought their favorite traditional breakfast dishes. Everything was delicious!
A big thank you to our room parents, Lisa, Bernadette's Mom, Kerry, Narain's Mom, and Lisa, Timothy's Mom, for organizing the potluck.
