Our Annual Cultural Night
was Amazing!
So many families came to celebrate one another. We enjoyed sampling amazing food and seeing entire families wear clothing native to their country.
The evening came to a close with a video made of all the students celebrating Cultural Day and everyone singing the Peace Song. So much fun!
A Visit from Room 283 Graduates
Room 283 graduates are always welcome in their Children's House classroom. Our former students return to Room 283 to read a book, teach a Montessori lesson, share a song or a poem.

Pumpkin Pie Sequencing
Some of the ESL students in 1st and 2nd grade are learning how to write steps in a sequence. As part of the unit, they wrote a recipe for Pumpkin Pie and then followed the recipe to make a pumpkin pie. Although they enjoyed making the pie, their favorite part of the project was eating it! Yum! Many thanks to Fatima, Maryam's mom, for helping us make the pies!
