Cube Chains
The Cube Chains are beautifully designed chains of Montessori bead bars that vary from the shortest chain of one red bead to the longest chain of a thousand golden beads. The Cube Chains have become very popular math materials in Room 283. The Kindergarten students enjoy using them for skip counting and identifying the patterns; this is also an indirect preparation for multiplication. With the hands-on experience of working with the Cube Chains, math becomes exciting and magical.
