Message from Manuel J. Fernandez
Dear CSUS Caregivers,
Happy Black History Month and Black Lives Matter Week! I hope that 2020 is treating you well!
Last month CSUS was very busy with many activities and many successes. I wanted to share some of them with you in this letter.
Volleyball Championship
On January 15th the Boys’ Volleyball team brought home another championship trophy. The Girls’ team also made an outstanding effort. We are very proud of our scholar athletes who always compete with passion and sportsmanship!
Winter Art Night
The first annual winter Art Night was held on Jan. 16th and was well attended by caregivers, staff and scholars. We want to extend a heartfelt Kudos to the scholar artists and their amazing visual arts teacher, April Silbert for sharing the artistic talents of our student body. On Thursday May 21, 2020 we will host the first annual spring Art Night! See you there!

Flagway Team
Help support local middle schools students traveling to a National Math Tournament in Ohio 2020!
The Young People's Project's 4th Annual National Flagway Tournament is happening in 2020! We’d love for you to join us -- in person or in spirit -- in Mansfield, Ohio on May 15 where YPP students from Cambridge and across the country will come together to compete in the biggest game of Flagway ever!
We ask for your support this month to help realize our goal of a national league where students are celebrated for engaging in mathematics learning in their communities. Your donation today will support programming on the ground with Cambridge Public School 6th, 7th and 8th graders, as well qualifying teams' travel to the National Tournament in Ohio. Our goal for 2020 is to raise an additional $10,000 to support these efforts! Learn more >>
