The Book Fair is Coming!
The independent book fair that raises funds for Tobin Library books, materials and author visits will be held from March 2-6 in the library. Fri. 3/6, after school, we will move down to the lobby for final review and purchases before the Friends of Tobin Movie Night. I will need volunteers to help people find books and be cashiers, before school and after school. I also need helpers to set-up on Fri. 2/28 after school, UE students are very good at this! Please use this link to sign-up for a slot.
Language Days are Back!!!
Ryan, Sabine and Lily Rose started our day off today by saying the Tobin School Pledge in French!
Getting Creative with Guest Artist Laura Webster
Last week, Laura Webster, a music and movement specialist from Cleveland, Ohio visited the Tobin for a 5 day residency. Students in grades K-2 created music, vocal and instrumental, and movement based on the Leni Lenape legend of "Rainbow Crow." On Friday afternoon, the students shared their learning with one another in the auditorium.
Thanks to Laura for sharing her knowledge and fostering a desire to be creative and also to the Mass Cultural Council for sponsoring this residency.
See above for pictures of some of the Tobin students working with Laura in Mr. Reynolds' music class.
