Library Books Can Now Be Returned!
Please bring any library books back to school and drop in the marked box just inside the front door or give to your teacher. If you have public library books, you may return them to Tobin or to any public library that is accepting returns. I will soon send out instructions for requesting Tobin library books for check out. We will be circulating books to everyone, whether you are remote learning or in-person learning. Email me with any questions!

Physical Education Update
A few quick updates regarding Physical Education at Tobin Montessori:
– Please use the nicknames "tobinpech" "tobinpele" or "tobinpeue" via Google Meet to find class when your student is scheduled for Physical Education.
– The videos from last school year have been archived into Google Slides and are posted to the Tobin Montessori PE website under "Archived Videos."
– There are over 2 dozen pre-recorded videos from last year for students to follow along to during asynchronous instruction time for PE. Beginning next week, new asynchronous PE videos will be uploaded to this site under CH, LE, or UE respectively. Please also visit the interactive Bitmoji classroom and click on the materials for great resources.
I have thoroughly enjoyed seeing students this week, and am finding that there are so many positives worth focusing on underneath the surface.

Our New Student Teacher
Hi Tobin community! My name is Holly Rizer and I’m a new student teacher in the Tobin art classroom this year working with Yuliya Paylor! I moved from South Carolina to Boston earlier this year to pursue my Master of Arts in Teaching in Art Education at Tufts University. Prior to moving, I completed my Bachelor of Fine Arts at Clemson University in South Carolina with a concentration in Printmaking. I love traveling, cooking, video games, and making art! I’m so excited to be student teaching at Tobin this year and I can’t wait to meet everyone!
