Greetings!

Dear RAUC families,

General Updates & Reminders

Clarification of this Wednesday's (10/21) Schedule

The district calendar says it is an Early Release Day. For RAUC, there will be no changes in this Wednesday’s schedule. All classes will be held at the same time and all independent work remains the same.

Listening Conferences - Round 2

We want to hear how school is going! You will hear from your advisor by the end of this week about options for hearing from you, which include a video or phone conference, filling out a form, or choosing to opt out. Please respond to let them know how you would like to connect! If you do not hear from them by the end of this week, please contact Family Liaison Julia Ho via email or (857)244-0730.

Questions for your child’s Visual and Performing Arts (VPA) mini-course teacher?

On Aspen, all the VPA teachers are listed as co-teachers, but students chose one course with one teacher. If you have any questions for your child’s VPA teacher, please make sure to ask your student who their teacher is or check the list below for the correct teacher and their contact information.

Quirky Art: Ms. Lucia Lee
Acting: Ms. Summar Elguindy
Fight the Power: Mr. Josh DeWitte
Composing 101: Mr. Patrick Wroge
Music in Film: Ms. Brittany Philips
Genre Exploration: Mr. Jamal Fairbanks

We encourage you to also check out the October Learning Previews for more information about the mini-courses.

Families of RAUC (FRAUC) Meeting Update

At last Thursday’s FRAUC (Families of RAUC) meeting, several RAUC caregivers met to discuss ways to help support our school community during these unique and challenging times. Some ideas included supporting families with winter clothes needs and supporting the school with book and school supplies distribution. If you are interested in joining or learning more about FRAUC, please contact co-chairs Deirdre Logan or John O’Neill.
