Snowy Kids!
On Thursday, we had over a foot of snow, the first real snow in December. Like all the Tobin students, Room 283 children were excited to play outside. They got creative and built a snowman or a snow fort, made snow angels, or went sledding. Snow is fun!

What Makes a Computer a Computer?
This was the topic of discussion in Library classes this month. Tobin's Instructional Technology Specialist, Ms. Rosenberg visited LE and UE classes to celebrate Computer Science Education Week 2020 (December 6-12). Students had fun exploring the new CPS Computer Science Education website where they found two exciting new things this year: videos of our friends at MIT reading stories about coding and computer science, and a district-wide CS contest for students JK-12! Check them out.
