Class of 2021

More information for Seniors can be found here.

Hello Seniors!
It is time to order Cap and Gowns for your graduation! To ensure we order the right size for you, please complete this Cap and Gown Form.
If you have any questions about how to complete it, please do not hesitate to reach out to [email protected]. Only students can complete the form and should log on with their school email address.

Graduation!
We are working hard to develop plans to celebrate our seniors and all they have accomplished! The current public health crisis has made planning complicated and, sadly, we will not be able to come together for a large traditional graduation ceremony this Spring. But this will not stop us from finding a safe way to celebrate our seniors! We are currently developing plans for outdoor graduation ceremonies that meet public health safety guidelines. Stay tuned for more details!

Cambridge Youth Council
Political Opinions Survey

The Cambridge Youth Council is organizing an event where Cambridge area students are able to debate/converse with other students on political topics in a Jubilee-style debate where they can justify their views anonymously. The event will be posted on Youtube, hiding the names, faces, and identities of students participating. Here is an example of the event we will be hosting, but over Zoom!

The CYC is collecting data on which topics student's would like to see be discussed/debated, and whether they would be interested in participating. The data from survey will not be shared elsewhere and will remain only accessible to a very select few individuals. Take survey >>

CSV Tutoring & Mentoring Programs

Cambridge School Volunteers (CSV) offers one-to-one remote tutoring and mentoring for Cambridge Rindge and Latin School (CRLS) and High School Extension Program (HSEP) students. It's important for students to be able to commit to 1 hour at the same time each week for an academic semester.

Academic Tutoring: Meet one-to-one with a tutor once a week to receive support with one or more academic subjects and/or test preparation.

College and Career Mentoring: Meet one-to-one with a mentor once a week to receive support in planning for your post-secondary life. This can include career and college exploration, college admission essay help, scholarship application support, etc.

Freshmen Peer Mentoring: Freshmen students meet with a peer mentor every other week during the fall semester to assist their transition into high school. This is our first year running this program, so there is limited capacity for participants.

National Nutrition Month:
School Breakfast Rocks!

Cambridge in MotionDid you know that 8-12% of all school-aged kids, and as many as 20-30% of teens, skip breakfast? But study after study shows that kids who eat breakfast function better! They do better in school and have better concentration and more energy and are generally in better overall health than those who skip the morning meal. ALL school meals are FREE this year, so there has never been a better time to eat and enjoy school breakfast! Try all the tasty options this March: fruit and yogurt parfaits, whole wheat pancakes, cereal with fresh fruit, and more! From your friends at Cambridge in Motion, a program of the Cambridge Public Health Department, and CPSD Food & Nutrition Services.
